Free Fitness Friday

 

A fun, free workout with moms in store at The Fourth!

Join us on scheduled Free Fitness Fridays from 10:30AM to 11:15AM.

Bring a yoga mat and the baby! We have large play mats for baby to lay on during the workout. Moms often bring a soft blanket for baby to lay on as well or share the yoga mat.

FAQs

Is there a fee?

There is no fee! Free Fitness Friday is completely FREE! We believe in physical health and want moms to get active. To keep Fitness Friday completely free, please consider making a donation to support our mom community here or making a purchase at The Fourth.

Do I need to sign up or register?

No need to sign up or register. This is a drop in program.

What types of workouts do you do?

The workout depends on who is leading it. We've had a variety of workouts like yoga, dance, core fitness and more!

How many moms come?

Because it's drop in, we normally have 6 to 10 moms join us. We've had as many 16 moms with their babies.

What happens if it's too full?

We accommodate all moms who come to the best of our abilities. We move furniture to make room for everyone. Sometimes, it will be a squeeze with a larger group.

We will start a sign up if we have too many moms coming to accommodate comfortably and safely.

Can I breastfeed my baby during the workout?

Yes, you can nurse your baby on your yoga mat, on the couch or in our nursing room.

Are we able to stay and chat after?

We'd love for you to stay and chat with the moms you've met at Fitness Friday!

Can I bring my toddler?

Older kids are welcome. We have a LEGO table, sensory bins and colouring sheets to keep them busy.

Can I join without kids?

You are also welcome to join if you are coming without kids.

What happens if I forget my yoga mat?

If you forget your yoga mat, we have two yoga mats we can loan out. Please ask our staff if you need to borrow a yoga mat.
